She is the Canadian Women & Sport Award Winner- Top 25 Most Influential Women in Canada in Sport and Physical Activity, a Parks Task Force Group Member for Canada Parks and Recreation Association, and the Chair of the Provincial Committee for Access and Inclusion to Recreation for Nova Scotia.
