GameTime, a PlayCore company, was recently awarded the Kinetic GPO contract for playground and outdoor fitness equipment, site accessories, and surfacing through a competitive solicitation process.
Kinetic GPO is a group purchasing organization established for Public Sector and MASH (Municipalities, Academics, School Boards, and Health and Social Services) entities across Canada with the specific purpose of reducing the time agencies spend on procurement so they can focus on other strategic initiatives. Kinetic GPO contracts are competitively solicited and awarded to the supplier who offers the best value to Kinetic members.
There is no cost to join Kinetic. Public and private organizations who want to save time and money in the bidding process can apply for membership. Kinetic ensures its members are compliant with Canadian trade agreements without having to go through the standard request-for-proposal (RFP) process. Members are not obligated to use the Kinetic contract on their projects.
