Because of the resilience of the small rubber pieces, the Recycled Loose Fill Rubber surface has the best shock absorption compared to other loose fill playground surfaces. It is approved for accessibility by Annex H and meets the safety guidelines for the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).

While Recycled Loose Fill Rubber has a higher upfront cost, it can still be more affordable than the engineered wood fiber. Because the Recycled Loose Fill Rubber doesn’t decompose, it requires less frequent top-offs. It does not attract insects or animals, and with proper drainage the chunks will dry quickly and not freeze.
