Me2®
Me2® is a comprehensive design program that outlines the 7 principles of inclusive playground design. Developed in partnership with Utah State University, Center for Persons with Disabilities, and our parent company PlayCore, the Me2 Program assists communities in creating play environments that remove barriers and accommodate people of all ages and abilities. The 7 principles outlined in the program focus on the developmental needs of the whole child by embracing the physical, cognitive, communicative, social/emotional and sensory aspects of inclusion.
The program discusses the following topics:
- Why inclusive play matters
- Understanding diversity, inclusion & social equity
- Respecting the whole child
- 7 principles of inclusive playground design
- Engaging whole communities
- Advocating for inclusion in your community
